Titled the “Eclipse,” Mache carefully re-worked the entire sneaker on behalf of Concepts’ Air Max Night celebration, inverting each color for a reverse take on Wotherspoon’s original vision. The most striking features of the hand-crafted custom include a rich green stripe around the foot, a dark grey midsole replacing the sail midsole on the original, and a darker orange “squash” color replacing the tan corduroy that originally adorned the sneaker’s tongue and heel collar.
