After finally giving the YZY QNTM its official release during NBA All-Star Weekend through Sherpa SUV giveaways and a select amount of in-store raffles, Chicago’s beloved Kanye West is ready to send his team into production for the silhouette’s next initiative. Teased today by Yeezy Mafia, the YZY QNTM is reportedly expected to see another release round this Summer by way of this forthcoming “Barium” colorway. For those that don’t know, Barium is an alkaline earth metal that appears with either grey or olive green shimmer depending on the lighting environment it is put in, and these adidas Yeezys do a commendable job of reflecting that. Most of its Primeknit compositions see through to an earthy green hue, and are seated adjacent to a plastic cage that applies darker shaded camouflage graphics. Midsoles further pronounce its naturistic motif by arriving in drab olive, and the toe caps have been modified with black suede coatings for a look similar to the upcoming Yeezy 700 v3 “Alvah”.
