The Nike KD 13 To Arrive In A Gold And Blue “EYBL” Colorway_Stride into Fashions Embrace

Though unsurprisingly cancelled, Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League is still set to offer its many commemorative releases. The Kobe 5 Protro EYBL is set to arrive in twos as revealed earlier last week, and it looks like even the KD 13 is readied to join the family with its own EYBL colorway. The connection, aside from name, is essentially non-existent, however, as Durant’s signature opts for a styling loud and replete of an entirely unique palette. Clad in gold, the upper approaches luxury as its overlays are given a wrap of metallic texture, one that bears an intentional share of imperfections. Elsewhere, matching line work creates grids across a shell of white synthetic, adding patterns adjacent to a midsole and heel tab bereft of any noticeable treatment. Linings then trim with a bit of aqua blue just as the Swoosh does with its contrast stitch while various iconography sit both at the tongue in expensive patch and the heel in ordinary screen print.
